How U Say Meds is an app that has over 1,000 generic and 1,800 trade (brand) names spoken by a
real person with an Australian accent. Other information about the drugs includes what they are and
what they are used for. They are listed A to Z by generic name. You can search for the medication or
use quick scroll to locate it.
To help build knowledge of medications there are two mix and match games. There are categories to
choose from like: Anaesthetics/analgesia, Anti-infective/Cancer, CVS, EENT/respiratory,
Genitourinary/reproductive/renal, GIT/endocrine/metabolic, Haematology/antidote/detoxifier,
Immunology/allergy/dermatology and Neuro/psych.
Game one: select the generic name from the left hand side and match it to its use and action from
the list on the right side.
Game two: select the generic name from the left hand side and match it to its trade name on the
right side.
